Porcelain veneers. Beautifully considered.

A brighter, more balanced smile can make a wonderful difference to how you feel. Discover bespoke porcelain veneers designed around your features, your preferences and a beautifully natural-looking result.

The essentials

A smile designed to feel like you.

Porcelain veneers are delicate, custom-made ceramic restorations designed to enhance the visible surfaces of your teeth. They can refine shape and proportion, brighten the appearance of your smile, disguise chips or discolouration and address selected small spaces. Every smile is planned individually, with attention to natural contours, facial harmony and the look you would love to achieve.

Your first appointment is an opportunity to explore what is possible. I’ll assess your teeth, gums and bite, listen to your goals and help you choose an approach that suits your smile.

Your smile, your style

From softly natural to a brighter makeover, the shade, shape and proportions are chosen with your features and preferences in mind.

A minimal-preparation approach

Some smiles are suitable for no-preparation veneers. Where preparation is appropriate, my aim is to keep it very minimal and within enamel, preserving as much natural tooth as possible. Any enamel removal is permanent and will be explained before treatment.

Thoughtful planning

We begin with a careful assessment and a conversation about the result you want, so the proposed treatment is suited to your smile and oral health.

The process

From your first idea to your new smile

01

Consultation

Tell me what you love about your smile and what you would like to change. We will explore your goals together and assess your suitability.

02

Smile planning

We plan the shape, shade and overall look of your veneers with your preferences at the centre of every decision.

03

Preparation & fitting

Where suitable, no preparation or only very minimal enamel preparation may be needed. Scans or impressions help guide your custom veneers, which are carefully fitted and bonded.

04

Aftercare

I will show you how to care for your new smile, including everyday cleaning, regular reviews and any protective advice specific to you.

This is a general outline, not a fixed treatment pathway. Appointment numbers and treatment steps vary between patients.

Making an informed choice

What makes porcelain veneers special?

Porcelain offers an elegant combination of lifelike translucency, a beautifully smooth finish and good resistance to everyday staining. Custom veneers can enhance colour, symmetry and proportions while being individually designed to complement your face. For suitable patients, they can be a beautiful way to refresh a smile without changing its character.

Like any dental restoration, veneers need ongoing care and may eventually need repair or replacement. Preparation, where required, permanently changes enamel; possible complications include sensitivity, chips, debonding and gum irritation. We will talk through your individual risks, alternatives, likely lifespan and maintenance before you make a decision.

Good to know: Every smile is unique. The transformations shown are genuine patient examples, not guaranteed results. Treatment is planned after a clinical assessment and discussion of benefits, limitations and risks.

Finding the right treatment for your smile

Tooth whitening

May help with tooth colour without changing shape. It cannot change the colour of crowns or existing veneers.

Composite bonding

Can change selected tooth edges or shapes using tooth-coloured resin; it has different wear, staining and repair considerations.

Orthodontic treatment

May be preferable when tooth position, crowding or spacing is the underlying concern.

Monitoring or no treatment

If your teeth are already healthy and you are happy with them, treatment may not be needed. Your goals and long-term oral health always guide the recommendation.

Questions patients ask

Porcelain veneers FAQs

Will my teeth need to be prepared for porcelain veneers?

Not always. Some smiles are suitable for no-preparation porcelain veneers. If preparation is necessary, I aim for a very minimal approach, ideally confined to enamel, while preserving your natural tooth structure. The amount needed depends on your teeth and the result we are aiming for. Any enamel removal is permanent, and we will discuss this before you decide.

How long do porcelain veneers last?

With good care, porcelain veneers can look beautiful for many years. Around 10–15 years is a useful general guide, although lifespan varies with individual factors such as bite, habits and maintenance. Some veneers last longer and others may need attention or replacement sooner.

Are porcelain veneers painful?

Comfort is a priority throughout your treatment. If preparation is required, it is kept as minimal as clinically appropriate, and local anaesthetic is used to numb the area so you should not feel pain during preparation. You may feel some pressure, and temporary sensitivity afterwards is possible.

How do I look after veneers?

Caring for veneers is straightforward: brush and clean between your teeth daily, keep up with regular dental reviews and follow any personalised advice. If you grind your teeth, a protective night guard may be recommended.

Can I see examples of your work?

Yes — explore the porcelain veneer transformations on this page, and visit the full Smile Transformations gallery for more real clinical before-and-after photographs. Results differ for every individual.

How much do porcelain veneers cost?

Porcelain veneers start from £750 per tooth. The final cost depends on your individual treatment plan, the number of teeth being treated and whether any additional treatment is needed. A personalised quotation will be provided following your consultation, before you decide whether to proceed.
